G-Stores Limited customer information

Privacy Policy

How G-Stores Limited collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1. Who controls your information

G-Stores Limited, 19 A Nithsdale Street, Glasgow, G41 2PZ, United Kingdom, is the controller of personal information described in this policy. Our customer privacy contact is support@g-stores.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the store, we may collect contact and delivery details, account information, order and payment-status information, communications, custom specifications, returns or complaint records, marketing preferences, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address and website activity.

Payment card details are handled by Shopify Payments or the payment provider selected at checkout. We do not intentionally store full card numbers in the theme.

3. Why we use it

  • To provide quotes, process orders, take payment, deliver goods and provide customer support where necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps.
  • To keep tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, product-safety and legal records where required by law.
  • To secure, operate and improve the store, prevent misuse, understand service performance and establish or defend legal claims where we have legitimate interests that do not override your rights.
  • To send optional electronic marketing or use non-essential cookies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who receives information

We share only what is reasonably necessary with Shopify and its service providers, payment processors, delivery carriers including Evri, suppliers or production partners fulfilling an approved order, IT and security providers, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required. These organisations may act as processors or as separate controllers under their own notices.

5. International transfers

Some technology or commerce providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we rely on an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism provided by the relevant service provider.

6. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, customer service, warranties, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and legal claims. Different records have different retention periods; secure deletion or anonymisation follows when information is no longer required.

7. Your rights

Subject to legal conditions and exemptions, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful use. We may need to verify identity before acting and normally respond within one month.

8. Marketing

Marketing choices are separate from accepting this privacy policy. Every marketing email will provide an unsubscribe method. Service messages about quotes, orders, safety or account administration are not marketing.

9. Children

The store sells products for purchase by adults and is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.

10. Complaints and contact

Contact support@g-stores.co.uk first so we can investigate. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
