Choosing the right thickness

  • 1–2 in: dining-chair pads, protective inserts and light upholstery
  • 3–4 in: general chair, bench and sofa-seat replacement
  • 5–6 in: deeper seating and heavy-duty support projects

Important information

Recon foam has a naturally speckled appearance, so colours and chip patterns vary from sheet to sheet. Measure the internal space or existing foamβ€”not the outside edge of the coverβ€”and allow for normal cutting tolerances. Foam firmness is subjective; this is an extra-firm grade intended primarily for support rather than a soft, sink-in feel.

Care

Keep dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Wipe gently with a barely damp cloth if needed and allow to air dry fully before use.
